Asphalt-paving screed operator

Save On BlackTop ( Langley, BC) is currently looking for a skilled Asphalt-paving screed operator. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position.

Job Description

• The candidate must interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to plan methods or sequences of operation.
• The candidate must operate heavy equipment.
• The candidate must clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks.
• The candidate must measure distance, volume, length, and weight.
• The candidate must operate computer-controlled equipment.
• The candidate must conduct pre-operational checks on equipment.
• The candidate must prepare accident reports.
• The candidate must secure special attachments to equipment.
• The candidate must perform minor repairs to equipment.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
