Newco Metals in St. John's, NL is inviting applications for the position of Automotive dismantler. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. The schedule involves Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must inspect products to determine the requirements for repair.
• The candidate must repair or replace defective or worn-out parts and components using hand, power, or specially designed tools.
• The candidate must test and adjust repaired products for proper functioning.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be able to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
• The candidate must have excellent hand-eye coordination.
• The candidate should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and busy environment.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate must be able to work in dusty conditions.
• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
