Job Description
- The candidate must estimate repair costs based on damage examination reports.
- The candidate must inspect repaired vehicles.
- The candidate must plan repair work to be performed.
- The candidate must demonstrate professionalism in customer service.
- The candidate must test drive vehicles to ensure proper handling and performance.
- The candidate must clean and maintain workspaces.
- The candidate must instruct apprentices.
- The candidate must replace front-end components, body components, doors, frames, and underbody components.
- The candidate must file, grind, and sand body surfaces to be repaired.
- The candidate must mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting.
- The candidate must hammer out dents, buckles, and defects using blocks and hammers.
- The candidate must remove damaged fenders, panels, and grills and bolt or weld replacement parts into place.
- The candidate must apply primers and repaint surfaces.
- The candidate must repair or replace interior components.
- The candidate must repair or replace damaged windows, windshields, and sunroofs.
- The candidate must mix paint and blend and match colors.
- The candidate must operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents, and seams.
- The candidate must straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment.

- The candidate must be fluent in English.
- The candidate must hold a Registered Apprenticeship certificate.
- Equivalent professional experience accepted.
- The candidate must be accurate.

- The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
