Autobody technician - collision

Kirmac Collision & Autoglass ( Coquitlam, BC) is currently looking for a skilled Autobody technician - collision. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Shift timings include: Overtime required, Morning, Evening, Weekend, Shift, To be determined, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must demonstrate professionalism in customer service.
• The candidate must clean and maintain workspaces.
• The candidate must instruct apprentices.
• The candidate must replace front-end components, body components, doors, frames, and underbody components.
• The candidate must file, grind, and sand body surfaces to be repaired.
• The candidate must mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting.
• The candidate must hammer out dents, buckles, and defects using blocks and hammers.
• The candidate must remove damaged fenders, panels, and grills and bolt or weld replacement parts into place.
• The candidate must apply primers and repaint surfaces.
• The candidate must repair or replace interior components.
• The candidate must repair or replace damaged windows, windshields, and sunroofs.
• The candidate must mix paint and blend and match colors.
• The candidate must operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents, and seams.
• The candidate must straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment.
