Auto body and collision technician

Arlington Auto Body Ltd. in Winnipeg, MB is inviting applications for the position of Auto body and collision technician. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. Flexible availability required for: Early morning, Morning, Weekend, Flexible hours, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must plan repair work to be performed.
• The candidate must demonstrate professionalism in customer service.
• The candidate must test drive vehicles to ensure proper handling and performance.
• The candidate must clean and maintain workspaces.
• The candidate must replace front-end components, body components, doors, frames, and underbody components.
• The candidate must file, grind, and sand body surfaces to be repaired.
• The candidate must mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting.
• The candidate must remove damaged fenders, panels, and grills and bolt or weld replacement parts into place.
• The candidate must repair or replace interior components.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a certificate or diploma in a related trade.
• Equivalent experience is acceptable.
• The candidate must be accurate.
• The candidate must be dependable.
• The candidate must have excellent written communication skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.

• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.

Work Setting

• The candidate should be willing to relocate and be ready to move to a new city/different city for a job.
