Auto body and collision damage repairer

TORQUETRAIL MOTORS ( Mississauga, ON) is currently looking for a skilled Auto body and collision damage repairer. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Flexible availability required for: Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must estimate repair costs based on damage examination reports.
• The candidate must inspect repaired vehicles.
• The candidate must plan repair work to be performed.
• The candidate must demonstrate professionalism in customer service.
• The candidate must test drive vehicles to ensure proper handling and performance.
• The candidate must clean and maintain workspaces.
• The candidate must replace front-end components, body components, doors, frames, and underbody components.
• The candidate must file, grind, and sand body surfaces to be repaired.
• The candidate must hammer out dents, buckles, and defects using blocks and hammers.
• The candidate must apply primers and repaint surfaces.
• The candidate must repair or replace interior components.
• The candidate must repair or replace damaged windows, windshields, and sunroofs.
• The candidate must mix paint and blend and match colours.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must have 2 to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
• The candidate must be accurate.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate must be able to work in dusty conditions.
