Attendant, ice rink

Greenfoot Energy Centre ( Bedford, NS) is currently looking for a skilled Attendant, ice rink. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Work schedule: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift.

Job Description

• The candidate must clean and maintain recreational facilities and grounds.
• The candidate must be the point of contact to handle emergency situations.
• The candidate must arrange for maintenance and repair work.
• The candidate must assist clients/guests with special needs.
• The candidate must coordinate activities with other work units or departments.
• The candidate must ensure smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery.
• The candidate must monitor quality and production levels.
• The candidate must oversee cleaning of specialty and difficult items.
• The candidate must prepare and submit progress and other reports.
• The candidate must resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
• The candidate must supervise operation of mechanical equipment and machinery.
• The candidate must train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
• The candidate must provide exceptional customer service.
