Assistant farm manager

GC Honey Bees in Smeaton, SK is inviting applications for the position of Assistant farm manager. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. This role offers Seasonal employment or Full time employment. The schedule involves Day, Weekend, On call, Overtime available shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must work with honey bees.
• The candidate must maintain farm machinery, equipment, and buildings.
• The candidate must manage the overall operation of the farm.
• The candidate must maintain financial and production records.
• The candidate must perform general farm duties.
• The candidate must recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation or equivalent experience.
• The ideal candidate must have more than 5 years of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must show initiative.
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
