Les Structures Ultratec inc. is situated in Laurier-Station, QC and is hiring a Assembler, wood products to join the team. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. Terms of employment: Seasonal employment or Full time. Work schedule: Day, Evening, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must make minor adjustments and repairs to wood products.
• The candidate must record information on products inspected.
• The candidate must assemble door panels, trusses, or modular components to make prefabricated housing.
• The candidate must read blueprints, written specifications, and production drawings.
• The candidate must inspect wood products for conformance to quality standards.
• The candidate must mark defective parts or products for repair.
• The candidate must trim, smooth, and shape surfaces.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in French.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and busy environment.
• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in bending, crouching, and kneeling positions.
• The candidate must have excellent hand-eye coordination.
• The candidate must be able to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
• The candidate must perform physically demanding tasks as part of their daily work.
• The candidate should be required to perform repetitive tasks frequently.
