Asphalt roller operator

Central Paving Ltd. ( Abbotsford, BC) is currently looking for a skilled Asphalt roller operator. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time.

Job Description

• The candidate must operate heavy equipment.
• The candidate must clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks.
• The candidate must complete onboard and other logs.
• The candidate must conduct pre-operational checks on equipment.
• The candidate must secure special attachments to equipment.
• The candidate must operate two-way radios and other communication equipment.
• The candidate must perform minor repairs to equipment.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must have 2 to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
• The candidate must be able to work in dusty conditions.
