Mechanical engineering technician

Zee Jay Mechanical ( Edmonton, AB) is currently looking for a skilled Mechanical engineering technician. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position.

Job Description

• The candidate must install machinery.
• The candidate must assist in inspection of mechanical installations and construction projects.
• The candidate must carry out a limited range of mechanical tests and analyses of machines, components, and materials.
• The candidate must estimate costs and materials.
• The candidate must prepare and interpret engineering design, drawings, and specifications.
• The candidate must prepare contracts and tenders.
• The candidate must prepare standards and schedules.
• The candidate must test machines and equipment.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College/CEGEP diploma.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
