Job Description
- The candidate must install built-up roofing systems using materials such as asphalt-saturated felts, hot asphalt, and gravel.
- The candidate must install or replace asphalt shingles, wood shingles, shakes, and masonry or baked clay roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings.
- The candidate must install roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings.
- The candidate must install single-ply roofing systems using waterproof sheet materials, such as modified plastics, elastomeric, or other asphaltic compositions.
- The candidate must read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements.
- The candidate must repair or replace shingles and shakes on sloped roofs of buildings.
- The candidate must repair or replace single-ply roofing systems.
- The candidate must repair roofing systems.
- The candidate must install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools.
- The candidate must erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms.
Job Requirements
- The candidate must be fluent in English.

- The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
- The candidate must be dependable.
- The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
- The candidate must be a good team player.

- The candidate must be able to work at heights.
- The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
- The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
