Apiary worker

Greidanus Honey Mill in High River, AB is seeking a self-motivated Apiary worker. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This is a Seasonal employment or Full time position. Work schedule: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, On call, Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must interact with bees based on knowledge of their biology, behaviour, ecology, and caste system.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must be flexible.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate must be able to work in dusty conditions.
• The candidate must work in hot conditions.
• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
• The candidate must work in an environment with a high concentration of odours.
• The candidate must work in wet or damp conditions.
• The candidate must work in dirty environments.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in staff accommodation that offers live-in accommodation when an employer provides a housing offer to its employees.
