Apiary technician

Greidanus Honey Mill is situated in High River, AB and is hiring a Apiary technician to join the team. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. Terms of employment: Seasonal employment or Full time. Shift timings include: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, On call, Flexible hours, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must maintain the bee yard and beekeeping equipment.
• The candidate must harvest crops.
• The candidate must interact with bees based on knowledge of their biology, behaviour, ecology, and caste system.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
