Apiary technician

Wendell Honey in MacNutt, SK is inviting applications for the position of Apiary technician. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. Terms of employment: Seasonal employment or Full time. Flexible availability required for: Overtime required.

Job Description

• The candidate must maintain the bee yard and beekeeping equipment.
• The candidate must work with honey bees.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must have 2 to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must be reliable.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
• The candidate must work in hot conditions.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a rural area; most people live or work on farms or ranches. Hamlets, villages, towns, and other small settlements are in or surrounded by rural areas.
• The candidate should work in various locations when employees are scattered across different worksites.
