AME (aircraft maintenance engineer) - avionics

Maxcraft Avionics Ltd ( Pitt Meadows, BC) is currently looking for a skilled AME (aircraft maintenance engineer) - avionics. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Required shifts: Day.

Job Description

• The candidate must troubleshoot problems related to equipment.
• The candidate must read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must have excellent written communication skills.
• The candidate must show initiative.
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in an urban area with a high population density.
• The candidate must work in the installation process to set up large-scale, mixed-media constructions, often designed for a specific location or time period.

• The candidate must be able to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in bending, crouching, and kneeling positions.
