Aircraft maintenance engineer (except avionics)

Missinippi Airways ( Winnipeg, MB) is currently looking for a skilled Aircraft maintenance engineer (except avionics). We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. The schedule involves Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, On call, Overtime available shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must adjust and repair systems according to specifications, technical drawings, manuals, and established procedures.
• The candidate must inspect maintenance work done by aircraft mechanics.
• The candidate must inspect structural and mechanical systems of aircraft and ensure that these systems meet Transport Canada and company standards of performance and safety.
• The candidate must repair and overhaul aircraft to ensure adherence to standards and procedures.
• The candidate must troubleshoot aircraft hydraulic systems.
• The candidate must troubleshoot aircraft mechanical systems.
• The candidate must troubleshoot aircraft structural systems.
• The candidate must repair and overhaul aircraft structural, mechanical, or hydraulic systems.
• The candidate must install or modify aircraft engines and mechanical, hydraulic, flight control, fuel, and pneumatic systems.
• The candidate must maintain detailed repair, inspection, and certification records and reports.
• The candidate must dismantle airframes, aircraft engines, or other aircraft systems for repair, overhaul, and cleaning, and reassemble them.
• The candidate must inspect work of aircraft mechanics performing modification of aircraft and aircraft mechanical systems to ensure adherence to standards and procedures.
• The candidate must perform and document routine maintenance.
• The candidate must order and maintain inventory of parts and supplies.
• The candidate must interpret blueprints, specifications, standards, and written technical instructions.
