Aircraft maintenance engineer (AME) (except avionics)

SkyCare Air Ambulance in St. Andrews, MB is seeking a self-motivated Aircraft maintenance engineer (AME) (except avionics). This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Shift timings include: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Shift, On call, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must troubleshoot aircraft mechanical systems.
• The candidate must repair and overhaul aircraft structural, mechanical, or hydraulic systems.
• The candidate must install or modify aircraft engines and mechanical, hydraulic, flight control, fuel, and pneumatic systems.
• The candidate must maintain detailed repair, inspection, and certification records and reports.
• The candidate must perform and document routine maintenance.
• The candidate must order and maintain inventory of parts and supplies.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must have 3 to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
• The candidate must be accurate.
• The candidate must be reliable.
