Happy Feet Reflexology is situated in Victoria, BC and is hiring a Acupuncturist to join the team. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. We are offering a Permanent employment - Part time opportunity.

Job Description

• The candidate must diagnose patient illnesses and minor injuries such as allergies and muscle strains or sprains.
• The candidate must diagnose physiological disorders and injuries of patients.
• The candidate must treat patients by administering small doses of remedies derived from natural substances, in chemical or herbal form, or by recommending appropriate lifestyle changes.
• The candidate must treat diseases, physiological disorders, and injuries of patients.
• The candidate must advise patients on herbal treatments.
• The candidate must manipulate or apply pressure to various parts of the body, hands, and feet.
• The candidate must provide alternative forms of health care to patients.
• The candidate must treat patients using acupuncture needles or stimulation techniques.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College/CEGEP diploma.
• Relevant experience considered in lieu of education.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in various positions, including those that require sitting, standing, and walking, as well as those that involve physical activity.
