Harbor ( Moncton, NB) is currently looking for a skilled Accountant. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity.

Job Description

• The candidate must plan, set up, and administer accounting systems.
• The candidate must supervise staff.
• The candidate must train staff to ensure proficiency in their roles.
• The candidate must ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, procedures, and internal controls.
• The candidate must prepare financial information for individuals, departments, or companies.
• The candidate must prepare financial statements and reports.
• The candidate must recommend improvements to accounting systems and management practices.
• The candidate must develop and maintain cost findings, reporting, and internal control procedures.
• The candidate must analyze financial documents and reports.
• The candidate must conduct variance analysis.
• The candidate must keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
