Accommodation services manager

Days Inn Stouffville ( Stouffville, ON) is currently looking for a skilled Accommodation services manager. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Required shifts: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Shift.

Job Description

• The candidate must develop and implement policies and procedures for daily operations.
• The candidate must recruit and hire staff.
• The candidate must supervise staff.
• The candidate must conduct performance reviews.
• The candidate must negotiate with suppliers for the provision of materials and supplies.
• The candidate must prepare budgets and monitor revenues and expenses.
• The candidate must arrange for and oversee maintenance activities.
• The candidate must address and resolve customers' complaints or concerns professionally.
• The candidate must assist clients/guests with special needs.
• The candidate must establish work schedules.
• The candidate must organize and maintain inventory.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree.
• Relevant experience considered in lieu of education.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate must show initiative.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and busy environment.
• The candidate should be willing to work under pressure.
• The candidate must be able to meet tight deadlines.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
• The candidate must be willing to work in a standing position for extended periods.

Work Setting

• The candidate must be able to work in a hotel, motel, or resort with additional sports and leisure facilities, set in a natural environment that attracts visitors beyond the accommodations.
