Parwood Door Products Ltd. in Burnaby, BC is inviting applications for the position of Production supervisor – wood products manufacturing. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Required shifts: Morning.

Job Description

• The candidate must prepare and submit reports.
• The candidate must establish work schedules.
• The candidate must train or arrange for training of staff.
• The candidate must oversee the safety of operations.
• The candidate must recommend personnel actions.
• The candidate must requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
• The candidate must set up machines and equipment.
• The candidate must supervise, coordinate, and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers.
• The candidate must recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.
• The candidate must uphold values and ethics.
• The candidate should be required to perform repetitive tasks frequently.
• The candidate should be required to handle heavy loads as part of routine work.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
