Youth worker

Charles J Andrew Healing Centre in North West River, NL is seeking a self-motivated Youth worker. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Shift timings include: Day, Night, Weekend, Shift, On call, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must conduct individual and group counselling sessions.
• The candidate must assist clients/guests with special needs.
• The candidate must manage events.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years.
• Equivalent professional experience accepted.
• The candidate must uphold values and ethics.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in a social service or charity agency, delivering programs and support that address community needs and promote social welfare.
