Sidhu Growers is situated in Abbotsford, BC and is hiring a Worker, farm to join the team. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. Terms of employment: Seasonal employment or Full time. Flexible availability required for: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops.
• The candidate must perform weeding.
• The candidate must harvest crops.
• The candidate must operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.
• The candidate must provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying, or harvesting.
• The candidate must detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock, and poultry.
• The candidate must perform general farm duties.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a quick learner.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
• The candidate must be able to work in dusty conditions.
• The candidate must work in hot conditions.
• The candidate must work in wet or damp conditions.
• The candidate must work in all weather conditions.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in staff accommodation that offers live-in accommodation when an employer provides a housing offer to its employees.
