Chinook Rafting ( Banff, AB) is currently looking for a skilled Whitewater rafting guide. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. We are offering a Seasonal employment or Full time opportunity. Required shifts: Overtime required, Early morning, Morning, Day, Weekend, Shift, Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must escort groups on outdoor sport and recreational trips.
• The candidate must operate and maintain watercraft.
• The candidate must maintain equipment in proper working order.
• The candidate must address and resolve customers' complaints or concerns professionally.
• The candidate must assist clients/guests with special needs.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Equivalent professional experience accepted.
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must show initiative.
• The candidate must be reliable.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
• The candidate must work in wet or damp conditions.

• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in bending, crouching, and kneeling positions.
