Welder supervisor

Bowling Green Logistic Inc. is situated in Morrisburg, ON and is hiring a Welder supervisor to join the team. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. The schedule involves Overtime required, Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, On call, To be determined, Overtime available shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must estimate costs and materials.
• The candidate must operate CADD and other computer software systems.
• The candidate must prepare production and other reports.
• The candidate must recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions.
• The candidate must train or arrange for training of staff.
• The candidate must coordinate and schedule activities effectively.
• The candidate must ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
• The candidate must requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
• The candidate must set up machines and equipment.
• The candidate must supervise workers and oversee projects.
• The candidate must use computer numerical control (CNC) machines.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
• The candidate should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and busy environment.

Work Setting

• The candidate must work in a transportation company to operate, coordinate, and manage transport services safely and efficiently.
