Les Équipements Pierre-Paul Beaulieu inc. in Rimouski, QC is seeking a self-motivated Welder. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. Position status: Permanent employment - Part time leading to full time. Flexible availability required for: Early morning, Morning, Day, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must interpret welding process specifications.
• The candidate must operate manual or semi-automatic and fully automated welding equipment.
• The candidate must read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes.
• The candidate must examine welds to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.
• The candidate must operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment.
• The candidate must operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
• The candidate must operate previously set-up brazing or soldering machines to bond metal or fill holes, indentations, and seams of metal.
• The candidate must maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English or French.
• The candidate must hold a certificate or diploma in a related trade.
• The candidate must have 2 to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate must work in hot conditions.
• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
