Welder operator

Devinci is situated in Chicoutimi, QC and is hiring a Welder operator to join the team. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Work schedule: Day, Evening.

Job Description

• The candidate must interpret welding process specifications.
• The candidate must operate manual or semi-automatic and fully automated welding equipment.
• The candidate must examine welds to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.
• The candidate must operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
• The candidate must operate previously set-up brazing or soldering machines to bond metal or fill holes, indentations, and seams of metal.
• The candidate must maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in French.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Relevant experience considered in lieu of education.
