Welder

Technologie Inovaweld Inc. in La Pocatière, QC is inviting applications for the position of Welder. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Required shifts: Day, , 06:30 to 17:00.

Job Description

• The candidate must interpret welding process specifications.
• The candidate must operate manual or semi-automatic and fully automated welding equipment.
• The candidate must read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes.
• The candidate must examine welds to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.
• The candidate must operate brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines.
• The candidate must fit, braze, and torch-straighten metal.
• The candidate must operate hoisting and lifting equipment.
• The candidate must operate previously set-up brazing or soldering machines to bond metal or fill holes, indentations, and seams of metal.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in French.
• The candidate must hold a certificate or diploma in a related trade.
• Or equivalent experience.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
• The candidate should be client-focused.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must be punctual.
• The candidate must be hardworking.
• The candidate must be resourceful.
