Welder

Fabrications Proco inc in La Baie, QC is inviting applications for the position of Welder. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Flexible availability required for: Day, Evening, Shift.

Job Description

• The candidate must interpret welding process specifications.
• The candidate must operate manual or semi-automatic and fully automated welding equipment.
• The candidate must read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes.
• The candidate must examine welds to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.
• The candidate must operate hoisting and lifting equipment.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in French.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation or equivalent experience.
• The ideal candidate must have more than 5 years of experience in a related industry.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in the industrial area with facilities such as factories, plants, processing operations, and similar operations.
