Job Description

The candidate must interpret welding process specifications.
The candidate must operate manual or semi-automatic and fully automated welding equipment.
The candidate must read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes.
The candidate must examine welds to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.
The candidate must operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment.
The candidate must fit, braze, and torch-straighten metal.
The candidate must determine weldability of materials.
The candidate must operate hoisting and lifting equipment.
The candidate must maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.

Job Requirements

The candidate must be fluent in English.
The candidate must hold a Registered Apprenticeship certificate.
