Simard Suspensions inc is situated in Baie-Saint-Paul, QC and is hiring a Welder to join the team. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. The schedule involves Day, Evening, Night, , 05:00 to 15:15 shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must interpret welding process specifications.
• The candidate must operate manual or semi-automatic and fully automated welding equipment.
• The candidate must read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes.
• The candidate must operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment.
• The candidate must operate brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines.
• The candidate must fit, braze, and torch-straighten metal.
• The candidate must maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.
• The candidate must assemble mechanical parts into subassemblies.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English or French.
• The candidate must have a College/CEGEP diploma.
