Welder-assembler

Fabrication SBL Inc. is situated in Saint-Benoît-Labre, QC and is hiring a Welder-assembler to join the team. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. Shift timings include: Evening.

Job Description

• The candidate must interpret welding process specifications.
• The candidate must operate manual or semi-automatic and fully automated welding equipment.
• The candidate must read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes.
• The candidate must examine welds to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.
• The candidate must operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment.
• The candidate must fit, braze, and torch-straighten metal.
• The candidate must operate hoisting and lifting equipment.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in French.
• The candidate must hold a certificate or diploma in a related trade.
• Equivalent experience is acceptable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate must be punctual.
• The candidate must be hardworking.
• The candidate must be resourceful.
• The candidate should be required to handle heavy loads as part of routine work.
• The candidate must be able to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
• The candidate must be willing to work in a standing position for extended periods.
