Y5 Creative ( Vancouver, BC) is currently looking for a skilled Web developer. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. Flexible availability required for: Day, Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must consult with clients to develop and document website requirements.
• The candidate must design and integrate website-related code.
• The candidate must develop website architecture.
• The candidate must maintain existing computer programs by making modifications as required.
• The candidate must communicate technical problems, processes, and solutions.
• The candidate must source, select, and organize information for inclusion and design the appearance, layout, and flow of the website.
• The candidate must research and evaluate a variety of interactive media software products.
• The candidate must conduct tests and perform security and quality controls.
• The candidate must write, modify, integrate, and test software code for e-commerce and other Internet applications.
• The candidate must assist in design, development, and testing.
• The candidate must research and apply metadata to Websites and register Websites with search engines.
• The candidate must consult with clients to establish the overall look, graphic elements, and content of communications materials.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years or equivalent experience.
• The candidate must have 3 to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
