Warehouse supervisor

Mariner Neptune Fish and Seafood ( Winnipeg, MB) is currently looking for a skilled Warehouse supervisor. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Flexible availability required for: Early morning, Morning, Day.

Job Description

• The candidate must organize tasks to accomplish the work.
• The candidate must coordinate activities with other work units or departments.
• The candidate must prepare and submit reports.
• The candidate must resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
• The candidate must train workers in duties and policies.
• The candidate must coordinate, assign, and review work activities.
• The candidate must requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
• The candidate must organize and maintain inventory.
• The candidate must operate a forklift.
• The candidate must establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient operations.
• The candidate must operate an electric pallet jack safely and efficiently.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Equivalent professional experience accepted.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
• The candidate must be accurate.
• The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must show initiative.
• The candidate must have good judgement skills.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate must work in cold or refrigerated conditions.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in wholesalers, purchase their products from a manufacturer or distributor and then sell them to another retailer to market them to end customers.
• The candidate should work in the food processing industry to transform agricultural products into food or one form into another.
