Warehouse supervisor

Silva & Son Produce Inc. ( Etobicoke, ON) is currently looking for a skilled Warehouse supervisor. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time. Shift timings include: Early morning, Morning, Day, Weekend, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must develop specific plans to prioritize.
• The candidate must organize tasks to accomplish the work.
• The candidate must plan and organize operational logistics of the organization.
• The candidate must coordinate activities with other work units or departments.
• The candidate must prepare and submit reports.
• The candidate must arrange for maintenance and repair work.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Or equivalent experience.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate must be accurate.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a warehouse, which can be a noisy, busy place to work, with hundreds of warehouse operatives, pickers, and packers, working alongside many forklift truck drivers who are moving pallets between shelves.
• The candidate should work in wholesalers, purchase their products from a manufacturer or distributor and then sell them to another retailer to market them to end customers.
