W Farms in Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON is inviting applications for the position of Vineyard worker. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. We are offering a Seasonal employment or Full time opportunity. The schedule involves Early morning, Morning, Day, Weekend shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must apply the technique of hoeing between the row.
• The candidate must clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens, and other work areas.
• The candidate must plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops.
• The candidate must tie and secure plants.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a quick learner.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.
• The candidate must work in wet or damp conditions.
• The candidate must be able to work in dusty conditions.
• The candidate must work in hot conditions.
• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
• The candidate must work in all weather conditions.
• The candidate must work in dirty environments.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a rural area; most people live or work on farms or ranches. Hamlets, villages, towns, and other small settlements are in or surrounded by rural areas.
