Vineyard worker

Sidhu & Sons Nursery Ltd. in Monte Creek, BC is inviting applications for the position of Vineyard worker. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. This role offers Seasonal employment or Full time employment. Required shifts: Overtime required, Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must apply fertilizers.
• The candidate must clean crops effectively.
• The candidate must maintain and manage the growth of vines, vine canopy, and grapes.
• The candidate must plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops.
• The candidate must sort fruits and vegetables.
• The candidate must tie and secure plants.
• The candidate must perform weeding.
• The candidate must clean work areas.
• The candidate must fertilize and spray crops.
• The candidate must harvest crops.
• The candidate must load, unload, and transfer crates, supplies, farm produce, livestock, and poultry.
• The candidate must operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
