Veneer-slicing machine operator - wood processing

Palmieri Furniture Limited ( Richmond Hill, ON) is currently looking for a skilled Veneer-slicing machine operator - wood processing. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment. The schedule involves Day shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must assemble plywood panels.
• The candidate must start up, shut down, set up and adjust process equipment or machines.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation or equivalent experience.
• A candidate with experience is an asset.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).

• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
• The candidate must have excellent hand-eye coordination.
• The candidate must be willing to work long hours in bending, crouching, and kneeling positions.
