Upholsterer

Mobilier Manora in Victoriaville, QC is inviting applications for the position of Upholsterer. Ideally suited for a motivated individual ready to join the team immediately. This is a Permanent employment or Full time position. The schedule involves Day shifts.

Job Description

• The candidate must replace worn-out webbing, springs and other furniture parts.
• The candidate must lay out, cut, fabricate and install upholstery.
• The candidate must tack, glue or sew ornamental trim, braids or buttons.
• The candidate must operate sewing machines or sew by hand.
• The candidate must mark, cut, and sew fabric.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in French.
• The candidate must hold a certificate or diploma in a related trade.
• Equivalent experience is acceptable.

Work Setting

• The candidate's relocation costs should not be covered by the employer; if the company does not provide a relocation package, you may request an advance on your earnings to cover some of your moving expenses.
• The candidate should be willing to relocate and be ready to move to a new city/different city for a job.
• The candidate must work in assembly to construct, assemble, or install components and products according to specifications, ensuring quality and efficiency.
