Truck driver

Carson Supply ( Port Elgin, ON) is currently looking for a skilled Truck driver. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. Terms of employment: Permanent employment or Full time.

Job Description

• The candidate must drive lighter, special purpose trucks.
• The candidate must load and unload goods efficiently.
• The candidate must operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials safely.
• The candidate must oversee the condition of vehicles and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
• The candidate must perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of vehicle operation.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be reliable.
