Truck driver

Public Disposal and Recycling Inc. in Kleinburg, ON is inviting applications for the position of Truck driver. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Flexible availability required for: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift, On call, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must address and resolve customers' complaints or concerns professionally.
• The candidate must coach colleagues on new methods or work techniques.
• The candidate must demonstrate professionalism in customer service.
• The candidate must oversee the condition of vehicles and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
• The candidate must perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of vehicle operation.
• The candidate must receive and relay information to central dispatch.
• The candidate must tarp and ensure the safety and security of cargo.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a certificate or diploma in a related trade.
• The candidate must have 3 to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
