BIRRING LOGISTICS is situated in Edmonton, AB and is hiring a Truck driver to join the team. The successful candidate must be available to start work as soon as possible. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Required shifts: Overtime required, Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, On call, Flexible hours, Overtime available.

Job Description

• The candidate must demonstrate expertise in mountain driving.
• The candidate must demonstrate professionalism in customer service.
• The candidate must load and unload goods efficiently.
• The candidate must operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials safely.
• The candidate must perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of vehicle operation.
• The candidate must transport and handle dangerous goods.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• Relevant experience considered in lieu of education.

Additional Information

Security and Safety

• The candidate must undergo a criminal record check.
• The candidate must be able to pass a driving record check (abstract).
• The candidate must be able to pass a drug test.

Transportation/travel information

• The candidate must have a valid driver’s licence.
