Tree nursery labourer

Islington Nurseries Ltd. in Cambridge, ON is inviting applications for the position of Tree nursery labourer. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. Position status: Seasonal employment or Full time. Shift timings include: Early morning, Morning, Day, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must perform weeding.
• The candidate must assist in pruning trees, shrubs, and plants.
• The candidate must pot and re-pot plants.
• The candidate must water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens.
• The candidate must clean work areas.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• No experience required. The employer will provide training to the selected candidate.
• The candidate must be able to handle a weight of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• The candidate must be a good team player.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate will be required to work long hours in an outdoor environment.

Work Setting

• The candidate should work in a rural area; most people live or work on farms or ranches. Hamlets, villages, towns, and other small settlements are in or surrounded by rural areas.
