SANDHU BROTHERS TRUCK & TRAILER REPAIR SHOP is situated in Rosser, MB and is hiring a Transport truck trailer mechanic to join the team. This position requires the successful applicant to begin duties at the earliest opportunity. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Shift timings include: Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend.

Job Description

• The candidate must adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems.
• The candidate must inspect and test mechanical units to identify faults and malfunctions.
• The candidate must adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems.
• The candidate must repair or replace mechanical units or components.
• The candidate must test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer’s specifications.
• The candidate must perform scheduled maintenance service.
• The candidate must advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements.
• The candidate must complete reports to record problems and work performed.
• The candidate must provide exceptional customer service.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The candidate must be accurate.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must be reliable.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and busy environment.
• The candidate must have excellent hand-eye coordination.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
• The candidate must be willing to work in a standing position for extended periods.

Work Site Environment

• The candidate must be able to work in dusty conditions.

Work Setting

• The candidate's relocation costs should be covered by the employer, allowing the employer to contribute to the employee's relocation costs incurred in moving closer to the company's offices or other work locations as required.
• The candidate should be willing to relocate and be ready to move to a new city/different city for a job.
