Tool and die maker

A-Z Mould Inc. ( Mississauga, ON) is currently looking for a skilled Tool and die maker. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity. Work schedule: Shift.

Job Description

• The candidate must compute dimensions, sizes, shapes, and tolerances of workpieces.
• The candidate must inspect final products.
• The candidate must set up machine tools such as lathes, milling machines and grinders.
• The candidate must test prototypes and production tools.
• The candidate must verify machined parts for conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
• The candidate must read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.
• The candidate must lay out, shape, and assemble patterns of metal, wood, plastic, and other materials from blueprints, models, or templates.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• There are no standard education requirements, such as a bachelor's degree, a certificate, or a diploma.
• The candidate must be accurate.
• The candidate must have excellent oral communication skills.
• The candidate must be flexible.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
• The candidate should be required to handle heavy loads as part of routine work.
• The candidate must be able to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
• The candidate should have an eye for detail.
• The candidate must be willing to work in a standing position for extended periods.

Work Site Environment

• The work site environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work with complete concentration even in such conditions.
