Ireland Tool & Die Ltd. in Guelph, ON is seeking a self-motivated Tool and die maker. We are looking for a candidate with strong interpersonal skills to start as soon as possible. We are offering a Permanent employment or Full time opportunity.

Job Description

• The candidate must compute dimensions, sizes, shapes, and tolerances of workpieces.
• The candidate must inspect final products.
• The candidate must set up machine tools such as lathes, milling machines and grinders.
• The candidate must test prototypes and production tools.
• The candidate must verify machined parts for conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
• The candidate must program CNC machine tools.
• The candidate must read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.
• The candidate must position, secure, measure, and work metal stock or castings for machining.
• The candidate must set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools.
• The candidate must operate machining tools to fabricate parts.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a certificate or diploma in a related trade.
