Tool and die maker

Canadian Tube Tooling Co. Ltd. in Mississauga, ON is seeking a self-motivated Tool and die maker. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. Position status: Permanent employment or Full time. Shift timings include: Flexible hours.

Job Description

• The candidate must compute dimensions, sizes, shapes, and tolerances of workpieces.
• The candidate must set up machine tools such as lathes, milling machines and grinders.
• The candidate must verify machined parts for conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
• The candidate must program CNC machine tools.
• The candidate must read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.
• The candidate must set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must hold a certificate or diploma in a related trade.
• The candidate must be accurate.
• The candidate must be well-organized.
• The candidate must be a good team player.
