Telecommunications line installer

Kaptron Services Ltd. in Prince George, BC is inviting applications for the position of Telecommunications line installer. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join and begin duties immediately. This role offers Permanent employment or Full time employment.

Job Description

• The candidate must inspect and test cable signals and associated equipment.
• The candidate must install and maintain aerial and underground telephone equipment.
• The candidate must complete and maintain test and service reports.
• The candidate must repair or replace faulty cables, power suppliers, and amplifiers.
• The candidate must splice, join, and connect wires.
• The candidate must repair or replace defective telephone equipment.
• The candidate must operate heavy equipment.
• The candidate must communicate with other workers to coordinate the preparation and completion of work assignments.

Job Requirements

• The candidate must be fluent in English.
• The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a related industry.
