Job Description

The candidate must inspect and test cable signals and associated equipment.
The candidate must install and maintain aerial and underground telephone equipment.
The candidate must complete and maintain test and service reports.
The candidate must climb and work aloft on poles, ladders, or other support structures.
The candidate must maintain and repair aerial and underground transmission systems.
The candidate must repair or replace faulty cables, power suppliers, and amplifiers.
The candidate must splice, join, and connect wires.
The candidate must install machinery and equipment.
The candidate must communicate with other workers to coordinate the preparation and completion of work assignments.

Job Requirements

The candidate must be fluent in English.
The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation.
